“Superstar siblings Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal have barely spoken in six months — all because of Maggie’s husband, Peter Sarsgaard,” claims Star.
The tabloid alleges that Jake’s friendship with Sarsgaard “has soured.”
“They started butting heads more and more over the past few years and had a couple of nasty arguments,” explains a so-called “family friend.”
The Star source adds, “Peter is very jealous of Jake’s success and is always bugging him to help him find a new movie role.”
If this story sounds off the mark, like other Star stories about Gyllenhaal… that’s because it is.
The siblings are just fine, as are Jake and Sarsgaard.
A source close to the trio tells Gossip Cop that they all see each other at least twice a week, and that the Star story is totally made up.
